Sylvia Mercado Kierkegaard (LLB, LLM, MSc."Summa cum Laude", PGDipl. EU Law, PG. Dip, Intl.Private Law, M.Eco., BA,Theo.,PHD.MA - from USA, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Philippines and Denmark) has authored over 2000 articles which have appeared in leading journals, books, newspapers and magazines. She is editor-in-chief of the Journal of International Commercial Law and Technology (JICLT), editor of 5 international journals, editorial board member of over 20 international journals and editor of several law books. Her articles regularly appears in Computer Law and Security Report (Oxford-Elsevier), the world’s leading international law journals on computer law, where she also serves as a member of the Correspondents Panel. She is a member of the Program Committee and reviewer of several organizations and conferences. She is a Thesis Advisor in the Masters program , management-legal consultant for various companies and executive director of IMF-MCC. She is a recipient of three international journalism awards and is currently president of the International Association of IT Lawyers (www.iaitl.org). She is listed as a global expert resource person on cyberlaw and a member of several working groups and committes involved in the study of proposals for revisions or recommendations of legislations.

Dr Jiri Strouhal is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Financial Accounting and Auditing of the University of Economics (Prague). He graduated from the University of Economics in 2003 and passed his doctoral studies in 2005. Afterwards he also became the accounting expert of the Union of Accountants. He is the author of several monographers in the branch of accounting or corporate finance. From 2007 he is the member of the Board of Czech Chamber of Chartered Accountants and member of the Committee for the Education of the Union of Accountants. He provides the advisory in the field of financial reporting and also solves the research projects.

Ladislav MEJZLIK is appointed as Head of Department of Financial Accounting and Auditing on Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the University of Economics, Prague (UEP). He cooperates closely with business practice. Since 1993 he has worked as an licensed auditor (CPA) and he has been a partner of an auditing firm. At the Chamber of Auditors (CACR), he is responsible for the content of one of auditor’s examinations in the area of information and communication technology. He is also a member of the Board for Continuing Professional Education of Auditors of the CACR. Since 1995 he has been a member of European Accounting Association (EAA) and in 2004 he was elected to be the EAA National Representative for the Czech Republic. In connection to it, he also serves as a member of the EAA Board of Representatives. Since 2004 he is a member of the American Accounting Association. Since 2000 Mr. Mejzlík has worked as a coordinator of the IASB official translation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) into the Czech language and has been translating a substantial part of it. He worked as a member of the Review Committee of European Union (EU) for revision of the official translation of IFRS into the Czech language for EU Official Journal. In 2004 he has been translating a substantial part of International Public Sector Accounting Standards issued by International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). Since 2004 he has dealt with implementation of eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) as the EU national coordinator for the Czech Republic. His professional specialization is divided into using the information and communication technology in accounting and auditing, and regulation and harmonization of accounting internationally, especially implementation of IFRS. Mr. Mejzlík is known for his extensive lecturing and publication activities. He has held the research projects and has presented his papers on a number of international conferences.

Zuzana Slováková is a senior lecturer in the Department of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague, the Czech Republic, where she received her first Law degree and the Ph.D. degree. She also participates as an external member in the Commission dealing with administrative appeals against decisions of the Czech Patent and Trademark Office. Her research interest is focused on current problems related to the intellectual property rights.
